Apparent clique group who seemingly have a problem with virtually everything that Boro Boy has to say and who respond rather than ignore.
To be fair, he does post absolute shit and then refuse to explain why he posted it or why he supports the views therein. There might be an interesting discussion, but it's difficult when it's one-sided.

In the instance of this thread questioned what was posted rather than ignore or report O/P being as not offer or bargain in any way shape or form, a fact which nobody has mentioned or it is assumed reported.
Fair point. I tend to use the Active Topics view, so don't particularly note which forum the thread is in.

Apparent purpose of starting this thread was to get a reaction, apparent clique group including those who thanked various posts did not disappoint
Regretfully, I must agree with you, that there is no other purpose to Boro Boy's posts except to annoy us.
I assume I'm in this clique (don't think I've ever been in a clique before. Do I get a badge?)

Who exactly is being antagonistic?

Talking about cliques. It seems to me that there is a small clique of people who have set out to annoy and be rude to other users. To post false facts and rubbish and to just annoy people generally. macliam calls it trolling. I tend to think of it as rudeness and just plan spam. I am not naming anyone. but if the cap fits you are welcome to wear it. I will not be drawn into further conversation on the subject unless your post is sensible and is not rude in any way. That will rule out replies to some posters in this thread.

It still says 99% saving: https://sarahjlonsdale.wordpress.com/en ... iciency-3/
Yes, 99% saving in GAS usage - not ENERGY as you have said in the heading to the OP. What about electricity? The blog poster is silent on her electricity consumption.
Typical. This is a twist; so Gas is not an energy source now - who are you trying to convince/kid you have just lost it!

Is this willful misunderstanding or a refusal to admit to an error?

Of course gas is an energy source. But cutting your gas bill alone doesn't necessarily cut your (total) energy costs.

I can cut my petrol costs by 100% by switching to a diesel car but that doesn't save 100% on my fuel costs. So if posted a story claiming 100% saving on petrol it might well be true but if I claimed 100% saving on fuel costs, it would be misleading.
