Some merchants require you to submit details of your transaction in order for them to verify the transaction and award your cashback. The process works as follows:
- You login to imutual and use the link to visit that merchant and complete your transaction
- The transaction should appear on your statement automatically (within 14 days unless otherwise specified) but the status will show as "Verify" rather than "Pending"
- You must click on the word verify and complete a claim form for this transaction. When you do this, the status of your transaction will revert to "Pending"
- Once the merchant has verified your claim and paid us for your transaction, the status will change to "Awarded"
This verification process is required by some merchants in order to prevent fraudulent activity.
If it is showing as pending. Then the assumption will be that you do not need to do anything as there will be no link to click. Bear in mind it could change to verify from pending.

The "verify" text is actually out-of-date and I've now removed it. There's nothing you need to do unless the transaction status changes to rejected

Indeed, I have suspicions Richard and Richard are one and the same person.

LOL. It was obviously a play on the "he / she has multiple accounts" sub-plot @imutual.
