anyone else here a Royal London member?
i have been ever since bagging them c2000, with an ISA. but an employer set me up with a Royal London pension policy a few years ago too.
i find it a bit strange that the ISA and Pension plans are administered so separately. they steadfastly refuse to communicate between departments.
they have sent me an interesting letter, addressed to The Executors of Planteria re The Late Mr Planteria.

I would hate to lose any of the posters here. At times I get annoyed by a thread or a post but everyone posts something worthy of a like a times. Not sure about me though lol
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

Hi all,
I hope you are well and getting your jabs..
I have a RL 'Insurance ISA' which has done very well over the past XX years, tripled in fact, so happy to hold and ride.
I am a bit out of touch though and one of my contacts is keen to join RL. Does anyone know the most cost-effective way in for membership these days. Not sure they are still promoting Ins. ISA so stakeholder pension?
Rgds.

i don't think Insurance ISAs are sold any more Trustee - they've been folded into Stocks & Shares ISAs, i believe? i have the same product, set up with an interview at home, with a guy i've since been in touch with re mortgages as it happens.
i also have a pension which was set up by a former employer, and i would guess that a pension is the best route in.. & if i wasn't a member i would want to be.
www.royallondon.com/pensions/personal-pensions
from my understanding when i've looked at options previously, insurance products do not provide membership.
