That's useful information, especially the bit about not taking government funding, which suggests this company's finances are fine - which has always been my worry about it. On that basis I think it provides sufficient confidence to invest further in it.
With either Ramsdens or Bakkavor it will only take some positive or "less worse" results than the market price has indicated to make it rise. Seeing Bakkavor rose from less than 60p to more than 100p in less than a month during April it would strongly suggest there is significant capability for steep price recovery, which is my criterion for exchanging bluechips for a more racy share.
I'm actually happy to change my vote on this basis.

It just crossed my mind that we are still owed a dividend payment from Aviva, which was postponed due to Covid-19. This dividend payment will still be paid but at a later date, hence, a bit more money in the pot for us from Aviva.

Thirteen votes cast. This is a different strategy to what we, the imutual Cashback Investment Club, have ever attempted before.
Please vote as it is your hard earned money that will be invested.

So the time is here for members to review and post anything else that might be helpful in making a decision on this. I know the membership is split but in fairness we do need to dig deep and fathom this bluechip quandry out. The more helpful comments and information posted to help make that clear decision the better.

We are stuck in nomansland here at the moment. I'm wondering what to do. I'm currently thinking that if we look at the sell vs hold it is 9 vs 4 in favour of selling. This being the case it may be prudent to remove Ramsdens and the Hold options and ask the four members to recast their votes for either Pure Gold Mining or Bakkavor.
Thoughts?

EDIT: I HAVE REMOVED TWO OPTIONS. IF YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY VOTED TO KEEP THE BLUECHIPS PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTE AGAIN. IF YOU HAVE VOTED FOR EITHER PURE GOLD MINING OR BAKKAVOR PLEASE REVIEW YOUR CHOICE AS FURTHER INFORMATION POSTED BY MEMBERS MIGHT BE HELPFUL.
Poll result was inconclusive at:
Pure Gold Mining 6 votes
Bakkavor 3 votes
Ramsdens 0 votes
Keep blueships 4 votes
I have had to completely reset the poll. Please now vote accordingly for the remaining two options.

Is there a deadline by which point we just go with the majority that have voted or a threshold amount? I have currently voted for Bakkavor but either option is acceptable and a gamble to some extent. PMG is currently down a little on what it has been so possibly a good time to purchase if that is the way the vote is edging towards. Therefore I would be happy to switch if it helped to capitalise on this situation rather than wait to just see the price rise.
