What sad news, Peter Green of Fleetwood has died aged just 73. Poor devil had schizophrenia. Not a sufferer myself but my Mum was and looking at her eyes when she was ill showed what a terrible disease it is.
Peace at last for him but his music will live for a long time

A wonderful talent, destroyed by his demons. One of the greatest guitarists, singers and composers in rock music and an inspiration for many. The book now closes on a very sad tale.
RIP

Yes, another life destroyed by mental illness. Whatever the cause mental health problems are terrible to live with and the Govt. needs to spend more on this area. In Green's case his lifestyle might have been the trigger but for too many people their mental health struggles are not their fault.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
