Do you believe this --- The NHS COVID-19 app protects your privacy and identity from other app users, and their privacy and identity from you. The app uses random IDs that cannot be used by the NHS or the government to identify who you are, or who you’ve spent time with.
The app cannot:
use your GPS location or track where you have been
be used to check or monitor if you’re self-isolating
be used by law enforcement to identify or track you
see personal information on your phone, such as your messages, address book or your phone contacts https://covid19.nhs.uk/privacy-and-data.html

now you get this --- Coronavirus: Police granted access to details of people told to self-isolate by Test and Trace - https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus- ... xwiIV2quXs

What does the above have to do with the article below? they are unrelated. The police have not been given access to any part of the app. Nor is any access by them planned. The things you refer to are two different things.

I read that this sharing of data by Test and Trace is unrelated to the app; so wouldn't make a difference whether you use or do not use it.

Alphadog ‘I think you’re find it’s called ‘Track and Trace!’
LOL.

I'll try to remember that for next time.

Are you worried? That's just a submission to a committee. I don't think it tells us that the chance of compulsory vaccinations happening in the UK has risen above nil.

This submission from some academics says that compulsory vaccination is currently not possible. it requires further legislation.
The document specifically examines how that would sit with human rights law, and concludes that it can be argued that such legislation would be compatible with human rights law.

It is one group's opinion of how one hurdle could be overcome if it were deemed necessary to make vaccination compulsory.
