what did you do yesterday?

Post by blythburgh » Mon Oct 26 2020 10:13am

I am 100% sure we did something yesterday none of the rest of you did. We went to a "blessing of the herring" service. And then many of those present then went and feasted on some cooked herring. We went for a walk instead of heading for the "Inside Out" as late Father in Law called the pub to make sure we were not exposed to the virus. ('im indoors is in the vulnerable section though thankfully not so bad he was told officially to self isolate so we make sure we do not take unnecessary risks). We could have bought some fresh herrings earlier in the week at the pub though. £280 raised for church funds.

Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

I went Chopin at INsaneberrys
Shouted at some bloke for cue jumping, told off a café assistant for walking into the café though the 'DO NOT ENTER ' sign, forgot me PIN, had to use one of me other 15 cards.
Got home, threw out all of the unopen healthy salad produce we brought last week and replaced it all with new salad stuff which I'll through out next week.
Then IDSIS sent me to the Coop because we hadn't got any stock cubes to make her famous 'Butternut squash mushroom risotto. Which involves me dicing onions because they make her cry. Me prepping the BNS because it's too hard, Me cooking the rice because it's too messy and her pulling out some rocket to garnish it all with.
Got through a bottle of whine watching 'Rebbaca' on Netfix, not a bad film, only spoiled by IDSIS constantly shouting 'That's not in the bl***y book.; I KNOW, I have read it.

Same as I've always done since lockdown - binged on Netflix, YouTube and Boxsets.

Took the dogs for a 9km ramble through the hills. 9km seemed like 90, because they are some hills !!
The dogs proved the usefullness of 4-wheel (or 4-paw) drive.... more on the descents than the ascents. But at least it's one place I don't have to wear a mask!!
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me
