A great actor but I would say as he was a tax exile who pushed for the destruction of Great Britain I would not have given him a knighthood.

Another reason why he should never have been given a knighthood. And although I was sure he was a violent wife beater I did not say so before as I had not the time to find the proof

But I read yesterday he had dementia and eventually was unable to communicate. This I find so dreadfully sad. My Mum had dementia and was unable to communicate for the last 2 years of her life. I would not wish that on anyone.
