Just seen a report on BBC red button with a warning " THIS REPORT CONTAINS OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE " . The report was about FA chairman Greg Clarke apologising after using the term " Coloured Footballers " and has now resigned. I wondered does anyone else find this offensive or racist ?

It is unimportant what white English (or any other race, for that matter) people think about these terms. It is the lived experience of the people who are affected that matters. Others should take note and seek to listen to the experience of those that are affected. It is only be doing this that harmony and peace will prevail. The rule apples equally to people of colour as it does to people of any maligned minority.

One of the problems is the words that are considered acceptable change over the years.
But the biggest problem in the FA is that only older white men are in charge.
