We haven't even reached the point yet where the govt might have to admit that second doses are in doubt and already the strategy of delaying them at all is looking highly misguided...
The UK will need to look "very carefully" at new data from Israel which suggests protection provided by the first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is lower than had been found in trials, the government's chief scientific adviser has told Sky News.

Rent comes off your income for UC but mortgage payments don't , so many with mortgages won't get free school meals.

Yes, a friend had a degree and if she had done the course a year later an MSC and her job came to an end. She found it impossible to get a job for several years. Too highly qualified for this job or has the right qualifications but we can employ someone else for less money. She lived on hardly any money and only survived by having a large enough garden to grow a lot of her own food.

Her mortgage interest was paid as she was on benefits. But she had one of those mortgages where an insurance product would pay a lump sum at a set date. So she only managed to keep her home by paying the insurance out of her Income Support. No partner and no children so her income was very low. No TV to save money, a car kept on the road so she could take any job not just one on a bus route.

It is very hard to be on benefits or an uncertain wage each month if you are paying a mortgage.

People should always be wary of scams. Not just on this issue. There are scams in all walks of life. Nothing new here.

True. But as this is a thread about Covid-19, and that particular email is pretty convincing, it is worth posting here.
