The TSB £5/month is only for the first 6 months.
There's a curiosity in the cashback T&Cs published
here which mention a
Spend & Save Plus account that has the £5 cashback on an ongoing basis. Such an account might also have a monthly fee, of course, although it doesn't appear to be publicly available (at this time) so we don't seem able to apply anyway...

The page linked below has an online form that can be used to convert Classic Plus accounts into Spend & Save accounts which qualify for cashback (not to be confused with Classic accounts which were automatically converted and didn't qualify for cashback). There's no limit for the number of Spend & Save accounts per customer.

The £80 offered last month only lasted the day (despite having a longer end date posted)

Wishful thinking; not just a new account application, eligibility requires being a new customer too.

If anyone might be interested in the
Spend & Save Plus account (as above) it's actually launched now and is possible to convert existing accounts using an option in their online banking. The monthly fee is £3 though, so it's not very exciting with maximum £2 net gain!
