Wine now delivered - that was quick (next day)! :D

I'll probably leave £1000 in the current account since 2.02% is a good rate.

Not going to keep anything in the 0.5% savings account, though.

How much is the wine worth approx?

Buckfast or something a bit better?

They say it's worth £180. There are 15 bottles in the case.

I'm not a wine expert, but £180(£12.5 a bottle) seems high to me
But it's not rubbishy ditch water either. 2 or 3 bottle had propper corks
I'd guess at £100-£120
Pretty easy to get as well

From MSE 'Virgin says they're worth £180, though this is hard to verify as they're Virgin Wines exclusives.'

My case will be enjoyed, anyway, so the actual value isn't a significant issue for me.

Still haven't examined them at all closely yet, but I noticed whilst checking to confirm no breakages, that it includes at least 1 bottle of prosecco!

This account has now been renamed to 'M Plus' and still pays 2.02% on the first £1000; although it appears they're dropping the interest rate on the linked savings account to 0.35% from 27 April 2021.

The switching offer is now a 12 bottle case of wine (worth £138). They've also added a £50 charity donation.

I went through virgin red rewards and got 15,000 points instead. Worth about £100-125 off a flight to New York.

The incentive has now changed from wine to a £150 virgin experiences gift card.

Now 15,000 red points; which can still be spent on wine, alternatively on sausage rolls, or other stuff...
