Gosh, the odds on winning must be astronomical. If they see this as an encouragement to shop there then they must be living in cloud cuckoo land. I would not be making a special journey.

Do I do my shopping as usual at Tesco or go to Morrisons? I could win £50 or I could get clubcard points that are worth cold hard cash.
Do I do my top up shopping at the national Co-op branch or Morrisons (passing both when I go in). Could win £50 or could get 1p in the pound dividend I can spend any time if I buy branded stuff or 2p in the pound for Co-op stuff plus my chosen local charity will also get 2p.
No brainer is it?

It's a £100,000 prize fund. Presumably the Morrisons More points awarded over 4 weeks were worth more than that... however don't forget we have our personalised offers too!

Well, after months of rubbish offers (e.g. 10% off UHT milk, literally a 5p saving) they've finally given me a worthwhile e-coupon this week: £5 off £50 spend. Hopefully this'll work on gift cards, even though the T&Cs say it doesn't, as otherwise I probably won't use it!

Let us know if it does work with gift cards. Some (all?) of the on-card rebates at Morrisons end tomorrow (15th) - would be very nice to combine the two.

I logged into my Tesco account page and found a £5 off a £50 shop. Sadly it was after our weekly shop and ended on the Sunday so no good to me. Will be logging in to the account weekly now

Sadly, it didn't. I put £45 on a Morrisons gift card combined with £6 of groceries but this didn't trigger the e-coupon. There's a small chance a branded gift card might behave differently, but they're sold out of anything else of interest anyway (have been for weeks/months at this branch).
In fact, they're sold out of actual Morrisons gift cards too, but the Nutmeg ones work just the same, so I've been buying those instead. I had both customer services staff and the store duty manager tell me that Nutmeg cards would only work for clothing, but the T&Cs don't say that; I wasn't convinced so tried one anyway and sure enough I'm having no issues redeeming them for groceries! lol
