Simply devide
878539
by the number of days we been open
606
Then divide 1,ooo,ooo by that answer then count forward the number of day from openin
Too easy :(
Let the shares sofa be S
Days open be DO
Million be M
Start date=SD

M/DO/M + SD

Easy now
OK- I'm gussing that is a no.
I did this with a diffrent shares company in the dot.com boom- but I don't think the shareholders were as bright - as no one got it right. The closest was three weeks off.

I will still be on the look out a new competition to run though. Do you know who is the
'Compertittion manlager
and does he have any ideas? Do you have any ideas?

How about this for a competition :P

How many times has a UK -100% model Cashback Site that has NOT had financial related problems and /or gone/was going bust been bought other than for a nominal amount :?:

1. Never

2. Once

3. Twice

I think the Shares idea was a novel one Richard, idea of which I believe stems mainly from your and other R-Points members long term interest in Mutual Building Societies etc etc - An interest that I both shared and was involved in for many years.

For someone like me who both uses all sites and is happy with all sites including I-Mutual the ability to change/form policy is irrelevant as I will use whichever site for which ever type of transaction that suits me at a given time based on rate offered/past experiences/Cashback guarantee/speed Cashback is paid after merchant pays etc, In addition most Cashback sites form policy/change policy based on user feedback/what they read on MSE/what other sites/competitors are doing etc anyway. ;)

Being as I have ridiculed so much what I regard as a “novel idea” and I don’t believe that anyone will buy I-Mutual in the future for a significant amount that will enable a payment/windfall ( what ever it may be called) to be paid to I-Mutual member Shareholders I have decided to put my shares where my Mouse mouth :P is and offer to donate currently 10000+ awarded – 5000 pending to a recognised charity of your choice –No rush you may need to change the rules to allow shares to be donated to recognised charities or set up a charitable foundation, in the meantime I will continue to collect shares as they are given out, all of which will be offered for donation :P

From a Cashback/Monies point of view as I have said elsewhere on the forum I am very pleased with what I have been paid by I-Mutual – again that applies to all Cashback sites that I both use and have used including those who no longer trade – :P

Every Cashback site that I have used including I-Mutual and Cashback Kings I have been paid for every non easy cash type valid transaction/offer that I have done including all bingo transactions some of which were done at Cashback Kings with a full new bingo site member Cashback profit offered and paid by the merchant – I have never bothered with Casinos though. :)

EDIT :

"If we are one in a million and actually do sell the company "

I dont forsee that eventuallity occuring - like I said I believe it was a novel idea - nothing more than that.

To be frank with you cashback lover, I have never thought that Imutual would/will ever sell it's shares. If anything, I think we wil be sold to another company, with no windfall/ payment and it would be done in the intrests of keeping the company alive/ not going into adminstrastion.

At the moment, we probally have arrive 800/1000 memembers. It would be easier plus probally cheaper for me, if I wanted to set up a cashback website to use one of VAC's 100's of churned out 'white-label' sites or one of the number of other companies who offer cashback. I could then spend a few hundreds of pounds on promotions/deals to entice customers and have an active memembership register.

If I wanted to purchase Imutual, there would be ton's of paperwork, and adminstrastion to purchase the company. I would have to wait for all the memembers to vote and for a special AGM. Meanwhile, I could have already set up all my details at companies house and be working on my site, rather than not knowing if I was going to be able to buy this company or not.

But, CashbackLover, you might want to wait and not donate to charities. If we are one in a million and actually do sell the company, then you could 'Gift Aid' what ever you gift to charity, if you donated it personally.

Thank you for your offer, which is consistent with the views you have frequently expressed here and elsewhere re: prospects for imutual shares. Although given that you appear to value your shares at zero, it hardly seems worth going through the rigmarole of a rule change just to allow a charity to receive something that supposedly has no value :? It would also undermine the principle that imutual shareholders should be active members of the site

There is a simple alternative though; you can become a non-share earning member of the site, like me. In other words, you can continue to earn the same cashback rewards but you won't earn shares, and your existing shares will be transferred back to IMSL. This is actually an option I plan to offer to all members, new and existing alike, as an alternative to completing the shareholder registration form, but in the meantime I can do this manually on an individual basis.

As an additional gesture (to cbl only), the company will increase your cashback balance by £10. You can choose to keep this or donate it to charity as you see fit. This would make you the first ever person to financially benefit from imutual shares  A place in history beckons!

£10 is higher than the value you place on the shares by, errrr .... £10. But it's lower than the value I place on the shares, which is why I think I can make this offer in the interests of the company and its shareholders :)

Let me know!

I'm not sellin me shairs for a tenor, no way
And you can't sell IMutual without the agreement of a majority of share holders who would not give it unless they could see a way of improvin their lot
