Boris has learnt something from this week.
Plan B allows for Christmas parties to go ahead.
So he won't have to lie about it next time.

They never learn do they?
10 Downing Street's Christmas party has been cancelled amid anger over a gathering last December

But the PM has declared his full confidence in communications chief Jack Doyle, after it emerged he spoke at last year's event
Brazen it out for as long as possible, I am sure Boris will be happy that Christmas is on the horizon, Should give him a break from having to keep up with the lies

Not necessarily, it depends who he was bonking whilst Carrie was pregnant (he has form!)

Not only is the Government led by Johnson, so is Boris!!

"Full confidence" used to mean "Resign now, so I don't have to sack you"...

Johnson has added another child to his brood, normally that would mean acres of newsprint. Not this time though.

Johnson is being proven a liar time and time again. Am I surprised? Of course not, the Boris Brexit Bus was the biggest lie ever told to the British public and he is proud of that lie.

I am really, really sad to hear people in the shires still defending Johnson - and worse, attempting to demonize Labour for being "behind the plot to undermine" him....

Some of these people even accept that Johnson is a liar and has no personal integrity, but laud his charisma. I guess this is not unimaginable - after all, he has betrayed all his previous spouses, yet is still married and producing children.

What can you do with those who will not see, despite the evidence in front of them? You can only think that people supported tyrants until the moment of their demise - and not always because they profited personally from the situation.

What appears to have happened is that the FPTP system has imbued the electorate with such an "us & them" attitude, that "our team" can be forgiven anything as long as "their team" is kept out of power.

The system is broken. There is no doubt of this, there is no way of fixing it, it must be replaced. Unfortunately, any politician proposing that is like a turkey voting for Christmas!

Now the investigator stands down after it is discovered that a "party" took place in his own office. Although to be fair it does not sound much like a party, from the description given in the following link from the BBC.

May 2020 cheese and wine event (in the garden, but no social distancing and against the rules at the time) photo leaked to The Guardian:
Boris Johnson has been pictured with wine and cheese alongside his wife and up to 17 staff in the Downing Street garden during lockdown, raising questions over No 10’s insistence it constituted a “work meeting”.

The photograph was shared with the Guardian following No 10’s denial last week that there was a social event on Friday 15 May 2020 including wine, spirits and pizza inside and outside the building. Johnson’s spokesman said Downing Street staff were working in the garden in the afternoon and evening.
