What is the most worrying is people with low immune systems are supposed to have a 4th jab. On local TV people were saying they could not get it. These are people who have a transplant or have a low immune system for another reason. The ones most at risk of getting the disease are not being helped
The reason for this seems to be that GP's do not know of the existence/how to fill in the form authorising the 4th jab. A classic case of either information not being passed down or if it has been GP's to busy/not thorough enough to read the instructions properly.

Interestingly, this was the case with my second jab. The walk-in clinic said no jab under 8 weeks, but my consultant anaesthetist neighbour said "nonsense, it's 28 days" and filled out the requisite form......

Others either didn't know about the form or didn't have the authority to complete it or couldn't be bothered........

Wow, still struggling with the outcome of my second vax on Thursday. The first one caused me little more than a little discomfort - but this one...........

Friday was a wash-out, yesterday I couldn't sustain anything for long, full of shivers and with headaches. Today better, but still feeling washed out and definitely not back to normal....

All this whilst feeling like someone has whacked me across the arm with a baseball bat! :shifty:

Therefore, not happy with Boris stating that full vaccination is "not enough", even if I do think we all need to take extra precautions this Christmas. :?

Sorry to hear that, hope you feel better soon. I didn't have any issues after my booster last week.

12133 more omicron cases have been confirmed in the UK today. Total daily positive tests 82886.

Apparently the figures for Wales were missing from yesterdays UK data; not sure about today.

In trying to appease the dissenters in his party, Boris is taking a big gamble. Unfortunately it may yet pay off for him given the low number of hospitalisations and the fact that experts are saying the peak may be very close.

I consider those who choose not to be vaccinated against flu and covid when they could be to be selfish. They risk getting it and infecting others.
But I was so shocked to read yesterday that anti vaxxers have block booked vaccine boosters slots in Wembley and then not turned up. They are doing this to stop others getting a possible life saving booster.
These people will have the blood of others on their hands. They have no right to stop others having the vaccine even if they are too stupid to get it for themselves
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
