Minimum payout

Post by richard@imutual » Wed Jan 19 2022 8:42am

From next week onwards the minimum payment you can request will rise from £1 to £5. This applies to bank payments and Paypal, and reducing the quantity of payments we need to process each week will help keep our banking costs low! :? This doesn't apply if you wish to close your account - in which case send us a query and we'll pay whatever balance you have in full.

I hope to introduce new payment arrangements at some point in the future, which will allow us to restore the £1 minimum. In the meantime, I trust this is not too much of an inconvenience and thanks for your understanding

Well it could have been worse if a tenner. Hopefully the future is not too long.

Not too worried about this but I do think its a retrograde step. :(

I'm sure Richard has evaluated the relative costs and benefits, both financially and for impact on members. Whilst it is clearly an unfortunate step, the new limit is hardly excessive and won't sffect me in the slightest.

If only coming here for the forum and for Kelkoo daily clicks, that means one payout every six months.

Par for the course. I think it just continues the evidence of a site that is a shadow of its former self

Yes effectively a payment freeze for most for a few months...

Well, it seems there that the answer is obvious...... or do you think users are entitled to expect the site to bear extra costs for their convenience?

Par for the course on other sites that there is a reasonable minimum set? Whilst I understand your frustration at the situation with the site, the fact is that Covid has affected the market and we are where we are - or do you have a magic trick to make it better? If you do........

This is the only cashback site that I use where the minimum payout is now set to over £1. Top Cashback, Quidco, My Money pocket Froggybank & Rpoints all allow you to withdraw at a £1 on My Money Pocket there is no minimum set. I do agree though that there are many sites where the minimum is a lot more.

I am assuming that this has come about because Richard uses an automated payment system that he has to pay for and that he is not making enough payments each week to make it worthwhile. If that is the case then perhaps it would be better to make the payments manually until such time as the amount of payments he makes each week increase.
