Let's hope that skyscanner or a new daily appears, otherwise might as well close the door

It makes me smile that some people get annoyed that they have to wait to get free money. The amount hasn't changed, just the amount you have to get before you can claim it.... and the amount of time it takes for the money to become payable never was in imutual's hands. I really don't see the issue, but if this causes people to leave, then I doubt they're doing much for the site anyway.

Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

Not annoyed. Just another sign of the site's sad slide into irrelevance.

Neither of us are big spenders on stuff and most of what we do spend is offline. So it will hit us although we choose to use imutual when we do spend via a cashback site. But if it keeps the site viable then so be it. It is not a level that Richard has set in stone after all

In view of this announcement. I decided to try and use the site more. Three very popular merchants I spent money with today were all suspended here. However they were easily available on Top Cashback.

Is it any surprise that we are projected to make a loss and that less people are using the site.

If you check the new merchants forum pages, you can see that only two merchants have been added since April 2021. Another aspect of the continuing neglect.

To be fair, Topcashback is a global company with UK turnover alone in excess of £100m. So a tiny bit easier for them to get and retain deals. I think imutual's role is to try and offer something varied rather than tackling such giants head on. We do have many deals which others either do not have or offer inferior rates

But if you let me know which merchants you'd like me to try and get, I'll do my best

Closing the "Request a new merchant" topic over 18 months ago:
I'm closing this thread as for the time being we don't have time to investigate these requests

Would you care to give some current examples? The forum thread on the subject is 8 years old.

And by the way, the not-logged-in home page - so the place any prospective new member comes to - has a graphic with 9 retailer logos, four of which - Carphone Warehouse, M&S, Tesco and Argos - are no longer available here.

Varied does not in my case keep the cashback flowing. I tend to use tried and trusted retailers that have a proven track record and ones that I can rely on.
