Settled out of court.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60393843
"The deal avoids any suggestion of Prince Andrew being personally involved in wrongdoing, but it also says nothing about removing the accusations that Ms Giuffre made against him.

But Prince Andrew has ended up paying up and expressing regret, rather than clearing his name."

This story may yet rumble on.

Yeah, right ..... someone has ended up paying, but I think it will be mum.

So much for him defending himself in court, I'm sure the whole family chipped in to save that embarrassment.....

Could he clear his name? He has always seemed the worst member of "the firm" to me and nothing has improved my opinion of him.

Mud sticks as Boris Johnson knows so well, hence the Saville remark. And the Diana, Princess of Wales remark that there were three people in the marriage when she should have said there were four.

The BBC has updated its text since I quoted it above, but this comment still remains pertinent in connection with the above:
BBC News wrote:The settlement is likely to come as a relief to the Royal Family, BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell said, as it means the prospect of a trial will not disrupt the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

He will be wearing uniform at the overnight vigil. Is today the start of a long slow rehabilitation?

He would need to be tried and proven guilty first.

I doubt it, a Mother can be influenced in a way a sibling cannot be.
