Lynda Baron, who played nurse Gladys Emmanuel in Open All Hors and still Open All Hours and who also starred in Eastenders amongst many other TV roles, has died, aged 82.

Sad news and hopefully it was not cancer/dementia that took her from her family and friends. For the rest of us she will long be on our screens as she was in iconic shows that we want to revisit
