There have been a few moans about the levels of cashback available here..... so a little pushback from purchases over the last few days:

MyMemory (laptop rest) - IM 3.6%, TCB "Up to 4.25%.... actually 2.97%!!

PicStop (memory card) - IM 2.1%, TCB 1.7%

.... and both with Cashback guarantee on IM

Moans? or just pointing to the facts?

Encouragement to explore the wealth of merchants who are not available on this site. If they were the site would be a lot more popular than it currently is.

Note, I said about the level of cashback, not merchant availability. I would agree that more merchants would be an advantage. However, I check IM first and then others as a backup - and make my decision based on what I see.

The help page on the cashback guarantee here http://www.imutual.co.uk/help/4/1561/ returns a error message (specifically, access denied).

According to the claims report, almost 15% of claims made in 2021 were rejected*. I wonder how many cashback guarantee claims were made and how many paid out?

(*tbf, it's only 15 rejected out of a total of 114 to November)

The fact remains the big boys can always get the best deals and at times the only ones who can get the product. And for cashback sites that is even more true

I now have a problem. Within a month or so, I will qualify for a full payout. I have one or two things I wish to buy, but one or two purchases will be of no benefit to me. Richard, can the payout not be changed to once every 3 or 4 months in addition to the £5 minimum as otherwise there is no reason for people like me to buy through the site?

Turn off automatic payout and do it manually every 3 or 4 months.

You missed my point. I have always cashed out manually, but in 3-4 months without daily clicks my payout still wouldn't amount to the £5 minimum. I don't buy much, especially online, so to qualify for a payout here would now take me 1-2 years or more!
