Boots Advantage Card

Post by Sarah » Thu Mar 31 2022 11:12am

The T&Cs are changing so that they can expire points more quickly!
From 20th June 2022 we will remove Boots Advantage Card points from accounts that haven’t been used* for one year, instead of the current two-year period.

As long as you shop with your Boots Advantage Card at least once a year, your points will always be there ready for you to use them.
*Usage requires your Advantage Card to be used in a transaction, in store or on boots.com, when either collecting or redeeming points.

You beat me to it.

I've got quite a lot of Boots points but their prices are so much higher than other stores that it's difficult to find a decent redemption.

Exactly why I never go there and thus no need to have a card.

I've sometimes accumulated lots of points and occasionally managed to spend them on a reasonably priced electrical in a sale, or on a good day their best multi-buy offers can match Superdrug prices.

"Boots cuts Advantage Card points earned per pound"
The health and beauty retailer said that from May, holders of the Advantage Card would collect 3p worth of points for every £1 spent, instead of 4p.

Or keep it... they're shifting the emphasis of this loyalty card away from points and towards discounts.

So it might enable you to make a saving even if you have no points.

It's been a long time since I last received or noticed an easy points offer, so this 'Just for me' coupon was welcome. Boots own brand shower gel 250ml is 76p with an Advantage Card. Earned 100 points for £1.52 spent.
