We go to a nearby town, have lunch, shop in the town and go to Tesco for the main shop of the week. Leave Tesco, turn left and go home via the bypass. But we were in the village adjoining the town for a covid update when I got the beep saying I had (allegedly) 50 miles left in the petrol tank. So headed into town and decided on the independent garage rather than the Morrisons or Tesco one. To my surprise it was now a BP petrol station. So in future when getting low or lowish on petrol I will turn right out of Tesco and not go home on the bypass. Or maybe I will make it easier for myself by turning left out of the petrol station as it is not many yards from the Tesco exit
