email received from Nationwide today re this. no mention of the minimum.
the trick to this, perhaps, is taking cashback... if that is part of the 'purchase' the £10/m is easy.

anyone reckon it'll work? i've spent just over a pound at Tesco today and made it up to £51.. so will see.
one small plus from the eerie quiet of our forum nowadays is that there's little risk of our exchanges leading to a clamp down from the society.

That's a good idea; I'd pretty much forgotten that supermarket checkout cashback even existed. Please let us know how you get on. However, if they haven't implemented any kind of tracking that we can see (which wouldn't be surprising for Nationwide really, since it's an uncommon and limited time offer) then you might not get any confirmation until they credit the 5% cashback six or so weeks later!

larger challenge than I thought as I’ve found one Tesco saying cashback is limited to £50 and another saying they haven’t offered cashback “since Covid”.

i've just been told by Nationwide that we will receive a text early in March to tell us how much cashback will be applied to our accounts for February spending, if we have qualified for at least £3 for the month.
