Tesco Clubcard points earned on fuel to be reduced from June 14th.
Starting from June 14, Tesco's Clubcard scheme will offer one point for every two litres of fuel purchased instead of one point for every £2 spent on fuel.
Tesco Bank customers who use their credit card as a Clubcard to collect points and pay for fuel will also be affected.
Just to clarify that second quote. Tesco Bank customers who use their credit card as a Clubcard receive fewer points now than before June 14th, however we can still receive twice as many fuel points for using a Tesco Bank credit card as a Clubcard compared to using a standard Clubcard.
The new rate when using a Tesco Bank credit card as a Clubcard is 1 point per litre of fuel, instead of previously 1 point per £1 spent on fuel; whereas using a standard Clubcard currently only earns 1 point per 2 litres of fuel.
Those earning rates apply regardless of the payment method; the usual additional 1 point per £4 spent applies for also paying using a Tesco Bank credit card.

what's the difference between a credit card used as a clubcard and a Tesco Bank Credit card.
Aren't they both Tesco Bank?

If your credit card is not a Tesco Bank credit card it won’t work as a Clubcard.

My post was intended to highlight and quantify that it's still worthwhile to use a Tesco Bank credit card as a Clubcard when buying Tesco fuel, regardless of payment method. I use a Tesco Bank credit card as a Clubcard and pay using my Chase debit card. This earns 1 Tesco Clubcard point per litre and 1% cashback from Chase. I'm not sure what point you're making.

" use their credit card as a Clubcard" - this to me implied you can use any credit card as a clubcard as you made the distinction of a Tesco Credit card later.
Oh well.

That's wording repeated from the MSN (MyLondon) article that I was attempting to clarify.

Tesco Clubcard coupons making a bit of a return in the Clubcard section of the website/app. They can either be scanned using barcodes at checkout or added to your Clubcard and applied automatically:

It might be necessary to go paperless for these coupons now. I didn't receive any for a long time until recently.
