End of yet another era

First they came for our free weekly Cafe Nero and moved it monthly and then converted it to a free weekly Greggs Coffee. Now, in recent times, the free coffee was largely out of stock by 9am and I have had fairly few of them (don't usually get up till around midday I work lates) despite having enough accounts to have at least one a day!

Now that is ending (12th September) because of, apparently customer feedback, to no more free coffee but you can buy 1 Greggs coffee for £1 once a month!

Not sure which customers said stop giving us freebies and make us pay for it instead but they must be a bunch of complete numpties!

So along with Imutual going so is, by and large, the free coffee the end of an era indeed.

Yes, which is why so many people screenshot these O2 Priority codes. They still work after their expiry times, right through to Sunday evening and in practice only a relatively small number of stores/staff usually check and reject screenshots of codes.

I'll miss the complimentary hot drinks and the weekend breakfasts, however all good offers eventually end and my health will probably be better for it!
