Yesterday: "Your parcel will be delivered between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m". said the email. Nothing so checked email to be told they would not be delivering parcel but will contact me with an update.
Today: no email and no parcel

Happened to me a couple of weeks back..... except I got no email!
I was waiting for something, so checked the Evri site - it said the item was "out for delivery" beween 10AM and 7Pm on Thursday. Nothing arrived.
Next day, no email. Checked site - and it now said the item would be delivered on the "next working day". Nothing arrived.
Then it was the weekend and the poor dears need their time off.
Monday, no change, no delivery (obviously not a "working day").
Tuesday. Ditto.
Wednesday. Ditto. ..... then I found the item left on my doorstep when I returned from shopping.
Site updated to say the item had been delivered. No explanation for delay. No apology.
Useless.
I had something else for delivery between yesterday and Tuesday. Checked yesterday, it was at the "national hub". Checked today, same......... then an email just now to say it has been delivered. Went to front door and there it was.... on the mat, in the rain.
Poor dears can't send emails, provide updates or ring the bell.
Evri - "We'll maybe deliver sometime, when we feel like it" Useless, just as their past existence as Hermes was.
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

They problem is, there is no choice whom you use. The firm sending just use the cheapest company they can.

Yep - and with RM on strike every other day, shysters like Evri will see a growth in market share....

Nothing changes.
2 packages via EVRi have been "out for delivery" every day for the past week - then, nothing. I reported both at the weekend, no change.
Yesterday, a different package scheduled to arrive by 1730...... then at 1720 I get an email to say they could not find me.... yet they delivered a different item (without notice) yesterday afternoon. So now I have 3 packages that are ghosts in EVRi's system
'Tis the season for EVRi to lose your parcel..........

Not everything can be bought locally. These are specialist items I needed for the house.
As of this AM, nobody has attempted to phone back, the "misaddressed" item is still showing as misaddressed, although they now have the detail. Of the other two items that were"out for delivery" yesterday, one is supposedly being delivered today (no time given, so almost certainly without "success" methinks), the other is not mentioned beyond being out for delivery yesterday, no update at all today.... at almost 1130. This is an item purchased on 1st December!!
Useless

My experience with Evri is quite disastrous and out of choice I would never use them. However you are rarely (if ever) given a choice when you choose to have something delivered. Given their bad record, I am very surprised that companies use them and they they still manage to exist.

I've had never had an issue with EVRI, but have had issues with two other companies in the last 10 days
ROYAL MAIL.
Last week on Tuesday they text to say they would deliver on Wednesday between 11:22 and 14:22; on Wednesday morning the text was that they would deliver Wednesday between 11:24 and 14:24.
As I had no delivery by Thursday afternoon I phoned Royal Mail. Told they had staff issues and my parcel was at the delivery depot. Wouldn't allow me to go and collect; couldn't tell me when it would come. I pointed out that the parcel had been sent Tracked 48 and I know that they had had the parcel for more that 48 hours - advised to take that up with the sender!!! Parcel did arrive on SATURDAY.
YODEL
Had a text today to say they delivered a parcel this afternoon. Cannot find parcel anywhere, but will have to check when there is daylight in the morning.
