So I buy a £25 gift card at TopGiftCards from TopCashback. Go to use it a few days later and do a copy and paste of the code. Not accepted, try again. Eventually realise Boots have got part of the code on the form already. So eventually manage to copy and paste the bit that had to go in the 2nd box. The first attempt to put part of the code in failed as I had managed to only copy part of it. lol. Then the credit card for the missing £3 from the total. Does not manage to get the go ahead from the bank. Start again and this time use my "internet" bank account debit card. Finally I have placed the order.
I did get cashback from Toppers for the gift card and cashback from imutual for the order. But oh the hassle. Why didn't I buy in the shop? Because that would have cost me £20 for the 4 boxes of Complan but online it is only £14. Bought 8 boxes so saved £12 as well as getting the cashback. Yes, it will last a while but getting 8 not 4 boxes meant I got free p and p. as well.
An awful lot of hassle this morning but plenty of money saved.

The hassle was not really the fault of Boots though.

This time the hassle is Boots fault. I am doing this in as short a post as possible or we would both be here all day.
Buy the gift card to get the Toppers cashback and go to Boots. Place order and do a copy and paste of the ecard numbers. Not recognised. Check and there are spaces on Boots site which are not on gift card and the last numbers are missing. End up phoning for help. He can see full number, gets me to type it in twice. He has no spaces his end but I still have spaces and missing numbers.
I have to go into Boots and get the e gift card replaced.
Go to my hotmail account on phone and check. Hit the link so Boots staff can see it and the phone goes to front page. Had this problem before when trying to open a link in a hotmail email. I could scream with frustration but the person on the phone is only trying to help so no good screaming at him of course
