I wonder if there is a limit to how much you can get per year or lifetime of your paypal account after which they charge you.
Once my personal account was free. Now unless I pay up front the person I am sending money to has to pay. I only get money for free if the sender is using masspay. Nice and quick as you can do thousands of transactions in a few minutes using masspay but to save time paypal make a charge. So it looks as if some of us will be charged by paypal or the site has to pay.
Is it fair to expect the site to pay for paypal? Depends on how much it costs the site to send paypal payments and how much paypal would charge. When inhouse costs are more than paypal then masspay makes sense but probably not at the moment.
