Possible new logo - your thoughts?

Post by richard@imutual » Thu Jul 05 2012 9:59am

As I've mentioned previously, we're doing some work on a bit of a re-design (well, the header and homepage anyway). As part of this, we've been looking at improved logos. There are some possible candidates below and it would be useful to get feedback from as many of you as possible

I'm not going to create a 'poll' as I don't think this is a decision that should be made on a one-person one-vote basis, you'll have to trust me to make a judgement taking into account our overall thoughts on imutual branding and values etc. That said, if there are one or more versions below that lots of you will violently object to then that's quite handy to know about

Here they are....

And to see what they would look like in full (with strapline) see below. Comments on the various styles of strapline are also welcome

I like the first one best.

IMO the second (especially) and third could look terribad unless you're planning an entire change of site theme consistent with those styles (whereas the first or last could fit fairly well with the current site theme).

I've done the logos a bit smaller - more like the size they would be in reality.....

Image best one IMO, simple but bold

Image a bit tatty/budget

Image as above

Image ok, but my immediate reaction is it's a bit feeble & Early-Learning-Centre looking.
