2nd one is the best. Personally I think the logo does need updating.

Common feature of all the new possibilities is they drop the "co.uk" suffix so I assume that you (Richard) feel this detracts from the overall effect. I can see the argument for simplicity but have to admit to being agnostic about the whole thing - I know these things are subliminal, so I can't 100% guarantee that the logo had no influence on my decision to sign up, but I'm 99% sure it didn't. Consequently, I'm unconvinced that any choice from the four shown would have affected my decision. All the same, it might influence others - there's a whole industry predicated on this assumption! - so by all means use your own judgment as long as it doesn't cost a small fortune!

The one we already have does not look clean, IMO it even looks slightly out of focus

Richard, the final image you showed us have the better feel but only when the 'strapline' is beneath it, it give a professional image and smart image of the company

With the 'strapline' taken away out does then look very 'early-learning' as someone already stated

Hope my opinion helps

I think the first one is best by far, the second and third look a bit playschool and the last one lacks punch.
