After emailing fasimms I received this reply...

We have been reviewing claims in this matter and due to the volume of claims received I would advise that we do not anticipate being in a position to pay any further dividends to Creditors.

Boo... :(

Seems unfair that some got the lot and others are getting nowt. I had withdrawn my money weekly towards the end so only about £3 or £4 in my account which I decided not to claim so others could get more of the their money.

You not claiming meant more for the taxman.

Should have gone for it and given it to a deserving cause. (I'd like to give my imutual shares to a good cause but they don't let me)

How could I be so cruel as to deny George some money to reduce the national debt.

Some time ago I mailed FA Simms to see what was happening. Just got a reply today:

------

Dear mgf

I apologise for the delay in my response to your email below.

It was the intention of the Liquidator to declare a second distribution (the amount of which would depend on the proofs received) but unfortunately we became aware of an issue which we have been investigating and we are continuing to liaise with legal advisors in an attempt to resolve it. As this matter has not yet been resolved, the Liquidator and his team have been unable to provide a definitive response to creditors in relation to this.

I would hope that this issue will be resolved and a full response sent to creditors by the end of June.

Kind regards
Chantel McCullough

Got my letter of confirmation this morning - no new dividend because of HMRC.

Still, with Richards generous offer to meet our losses originally AND the initial dividend I'm not sure any of us are out of pocket.

And at least the matter is now over for all concerned. And HMRC always get priority against the small claimants

Maybe that's what you would like to happen??

In fact they have no priority over any other unsecured creditors.

No that isn't true
All claimants are equal
What appears to have happen here is the HMRC were V late in getting their claim in
