No offence meant to Macliam, and not intending to be controversial - 4 ( four), second placed thanks came from registered users from outside of UK.

There are those who agree with and those who are convinced to agree with and I fall into neither of those categories ....

You're' right - I hadn't spotted that  They look like artificial votes, I'll endeavour to screen these out for next month

Well done winners, even if there is a doubt about some of the votes, I still congratulate you all

No offence taken .... I didn't even realise that my throwaway comment had attracted votes, let alone dubious ones. Whilst the extra shares were a nice surprise after having a large cashback/shares transaction declined earlier in the week, I'm quite prepared to lose them as I wouldn't want anyone to think I was involved in anything underhand. Any "artificial" votes on my behalf would have come from much closer to home  ... and I doubt they'd declare their country of origin!

Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

Kind of you to offer, but I'm not going to take back any awards already announced. Plus you deserve it for your general contributions :)

I thought it was a very funny post and far more worthy of being a winning post than anything I posted last month.
