The Ethics of this site and the way it is managed is very important to it's members. Everyone is free to comment and to reply if they feel strong enough for further discussion on a point whether they agree or disagree. Freedom of speech is welcome but abuse will not be tolerated. (Rant over)

If you look through the forums some of the most frequent posters can, at times, get criitised by other members if they disagree with the statement.

And I would say that is exactly how it happens within a family or a group of friends.

We are most certainly not a clique nor do we resent posts that we disagree with, we merely post our opposing point of view. Just like friends and family members have always done in the real world.

Because all sites have fixed and variable costs, it impossible to pay out 100% cashback, because the costs have to be met somewhere, plus an element of profit.

[quote="rsturbolad. Perhaps as Richard said, my trading is with one of the networks who has confusing settlements? Surely iMutual knows when they receive a payment into their collections account what transactions it covers...

At any rate, clearly it's best not to comment. You all seem to know my cashback account well enough to have decided I'm talking out of my hat [/quote]

My reply was based on :

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12745&p=37472&hilit=award+date

Two years on I believe it was a reasonable expectation that it would apply to "all" networks being as "all" other "cashback sites" that I use award everything as soon as it gets paid without any apparent exceptions.

There are those who agree with and those who are convinced to agree with and I fall into neither of those categories ....

@ richard@imutual - don't you receive a bonus from some affiliate networks? This covers some administration charges?

Back on topic and away from unnecessary sniping...

The 'cashback kept' as Richard describes it includes the £5 a year fee that Quidco charged all members until a free category was introduced 12(?) months ago. And TCB now also have a premium section.

I guess the 'cashback kept' heading also includes cashback forfeit by members who let their membership lapse.
