I read this as a pretty strong signal to keep clear for now.The British Bankers’ Association said it recognised the value of these services but also had “real concerns” about sharing bank details. “It’s like handing over the keys of your front door to a stranger,” a spokesman said.
It would prefer services that do not require account passwords and said banks are working on such technology.
