remakes are now part of ' movie culture ' however if it can get younger people who didn't know the 3 stooges to watch originals then alls good, unfortunatley as with alot of classic comedies they were filmed in black and white (Keaton,Laurel and Hardy, even some Norman Wisdom) thus losing a large % of younger viewers.

I can see that fingers-in-the-eye routine being a big problem if this ever took off with Kids.

Tango had to drop their you've-been-tangoed campaign, and Harry Hill had to stop his Pushing-into-a-hedge ("BushPush!!!") routine.

That looks far more dangerous to me.

Remakes rarely match or come close to the originals. Given the 3 stooges were a load of tosh back in the 1920s or whenever Kev was in his teenage years watching, i wouldnt expect much in this new film.
