And you could support them even more if you are buying by foregoing the cashback and buying direct from the site

I was in two minds about this but it needs to be said.

Once all of the talking is done and dusted there should be NO NEED for charities like Help for Heroes.

Our government should be looking after our boys and girls, full stop.

And the same could be said for every other charity that looks after people in this country, including those for children and the elderly. We would all be willing to pay an extra 10p in the pound on income tax to pay for it i'm sure.

Really?

Do you not even glance at the headlines in the Mail/Express/Sun/Telegraph?

It was said very tongue in cheek, in answer to underdog who said

For sure, I would not be willing to pay more in tax. But where he thinks the money is going to come from I don't know.

In answer to your second question. No, I never read or even glance at a newspaper and the ones you mention in particular, I would be reluctant to touch for fear they might have a contagious disease.

I was watching some of the Remembrance Day parade on TV yesterday and thought that if the minimum age was 18 in 1945 then those old soldiers from WW2 would be 89 or over now. No wonder there was so many in wheelchairs. They do well to get to the parade each year
