Available to both new and existing customers!
Get £200 when you switch to a FlexDirect
There are a few things you need to do to get our bank account switch offer. You need to:
- switch your current account with another building society or a bank to a FlexPlus, FlexDirect or FlexAccount current account. We’re sorry, but FlexBasic, FlexOne and FlexStudent do not qualify for this offer
- complete your switch online, using our website or Internet Bank
- complete a full switch using the Current Account Switch Service within 60 days of requesting the switch. You can do this by telling us in your application that you want to close your old bank account and move all your Direct Debits, standing orders and money over to a Nationwide account as part of your switch
- switch over at least 2 active Direct Debits as part of your switch.
You can only get this offer on the first sole and first joint current account you’ve switched to us since 18 August 2021. And you cannot be subject to any of the exclusions listed in our terms and conditions. We may change, replace or withdraw this offer at any time. Read the full terms and conditions.

i'm looking at chopping a long-standing TSB account into a long-standing FlexAccount.
any reason why that wouldn't work? i haven't switched an account since then.

I'll probably go for it myself once I've sorted those out; might not qualify but nothing to lose by trying. It's surely worth a punt for the possibility of £200. Still got plenty of TSB accounts available for sacrifice.

It is, however I had a Nationwide switch complete in October 2021, so probably no £200 for me.

They didn't announce the end date, but seems yesterday was the last day.
Information: Our £200 bank account switch offer ended on 30 November 2022. If you applied to switch your bank account to us on or before this date, you can still get our offer. You just need to meet the terms and conditions.
I haven't participated, as I set up 2 new direct debits but they didn't go "active" yet. Maybe could've worked, but it's too late now!
