is it just me but the definition of "jokes" seems to have changed?

Jokes IMO are often not jokes but just slagging someone off or trying to make them a scapegoat. Far to personal. Neither a joke nor funny. More respect is needed. People may be idiots, do silly things, have different views. However they are still entitled to respect.
