Hard times in East Anglia. Perhaps they could join Amazon Shopper Panel or do some daily clicks to balance the books...
Or maybe the Tory Govt. would listen to Tory run councils and agree the cuts in funding has gone far, far too far. Slash the amount of money the Govt. gives to County and Metropolitan Councils, do not let them raise Council Tax.
Every county, although some are hit harder than others, is facing a timebomb of "silent" and "baby boomers" generations needing in home care or being moved into a care home.
And the Councils are picking up most of the bill for that. And so they are forced to give the private providers of the in home care insufficient money. So they try to charge those who actually pay more, are unable to pay the carers enough to get enough people to work for them and some of them are having to close to avoid bankruptcy.
Nice one hard right of the Tory party you are destroying what people value most
