Quite an old thread this. HSBC 5% Regular Saver is only 0.48% above
Shawbrook Easy Access at current rates. They should try harder - perhaps they will before long. So not worthwhile right now IMO.

agreed. Skipton, as linked to above, way ahead.
in fairness though i've always found RSs a useful way of getting £3k together, in a way that can seem painless, rather than actually feeling as though the interest is a major benefit.
