any contributors any good ideas re creating Direct Debits?

i could do with 2 or 3 more for account incentives

Credit cards. You've probably got some spares? Set up DDs then spend £1 or some other nominal amount on the card. The main issue with this method is the long waiting time for the next statement and payment date to arrive.

Charity donations. Quicker. 25% bonus with Gift Aid and tax back if you're a higher rate payer!

only have 2 credit cards nowadays and they're set up already.
my charge card i pay manually.
i may set up some small DDs into Pension pots.

gone with NFUM and Wesleyan for this Lloyds Classic account's DDs.

looking for other options though.

there was Post Office Bank Savings, but has that option gone?

Amazon are now cancelling gift card balance auto top-ups that are below (or too far below) the current minimum, which is £5.

I'm losing a 10p auto top-up that has remained active for many years. I won't be restarting it at £5 per month!

what is the auto top-up? Not come across this one.

If you top-up your Amazon balance automatically (e.g. monthly) using a credit card and set that credit card to collect payments by direct debit, then it becomes an ongoing direct debit requiring no further effort. However, as above, the minimum amount increased to £5 awhile ago and they are now also cancelling pre-existing auto top-ups for lower amounts.
