This merchant applies the same conditions to other cashback sites as it does to imutual. We just choose not to advertise it as a min £2 deposit, to avoid encouraging abuse of the offer. Based on feedback from the merchant, I've updated the conditions to include the following:
You must be a new depositing customer in order to qualify for cashback. Transactions are validated after a 2 months, and possible reasons for rejection include: duplicate accounts, deleted accounts, suspended accounts and Banned accounts.
The only material difference between our offer this week and tcb is that we're paying more cashback
Re: the stats. We might need to review how these are calculated, and note that in this case they are based on a very small number of transactions. We've had 5 transactions to date, of which 2 were declined. One claim was submitted, and the merchant agreed to reverse the declined status. The other declined transaction has not (as yet) been disputed by the member concerned
So in effect, no imutual member has had their cashback declined and exhausted the options for disputing this. As is this the case for virtually all our merchants, outside of the "free cashback" ones
I'll leave our members to decide which cashback site they trust most
