Nah, make it 1 euro!
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

This is a site that needs to be far better known. We do not live on a pound a day but we do have far more fresh fruit, meals out, holidays etc because we cook from scratch and make sure we cook enough for the meal and no left overs.
Frozen veg and even fruit if you want to make a pudding is great. It is cheaper than buying a load of fresh veg and chucking half of it out because you did not use it in time. And it is fresher than a lot of the fresh food sold. Peas are a prime example, they start to lose there best taste after just two hours. So you can never get a better pea than a frozen one unless you grow your own and pick and eat within 2 hours.
You also get far more variety in your meals as you can get out of season veg without paying premium prices.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
