Can we still have the quiz with shares as the only prizes please. I do enjoy that one.
Obviously you are just one person in your sector whose jobs are at risk. And the business as well of course. Such a nightmare for so many people especially those still paying off the mortgage and those who rent.
I really feel for all in the catering sector. We have lunch at an independent cafe every week. We have got to know the owner and staff. Obviously due to age and health we will not be going again for the foreseeable future. But will the cafe still be there when this is all over? I fear too many cafes, pubs etc will not survive. Same as the independent bakers etc. Tragic for all of us

Yes I'm fortunate that 2/4 of the children don't live here anymore But I do think a lot about D1, she's a GP and at the V sharp end of this Pandademic
The Quiz will return but probably with Share prizes for a bit

I worry about those on the front line like GP's and mental health workers as there is going to be so much depression in the months ahead.
Give your daughter my grateful thanks for all she is doing.

Add mine. hard to know which is worse, being a hospital doctor with limited PPE, or being a GP with little opportunity to use it.
I had a note from on Friday to say that the nurse-specialists in the bowel cancer department here are being retrained to provide cover for front-line colleagues - and my friend says his daughter in Dorset, a nurse-specialist in pulmonary disease, has been told she to will have to fulfil "standard nursing duties". Odd, since you would have thought her specialism was needed, but......

Yes
We will probably get a figure on how many die from the virus
But how many will die because their illness can’t be treated because their doctor/nurse has been redeployed?

Yes, it's called "the law of secondary effects" and is something that all epidemiologists add as a caveat to their numbers because it can't be calculated or proven. Hold on to your hats.
