corporate/institutional volume investors are likely to improve the dependability too.

Firstly, Bitcoin is high-risk. Only "invest" money that you are comfortable to lose all of it.

As with most things in life there are a number of ways to do the exact same thing.

it's an asset that has been volatile, denominated in dollars/pounds.
but, there's a logic that those, and other, fiat currencies are going to continue to reduce in value due to inflation, whilst bitcoin strengthens.
quantitative easing/quantitative hardening.
