It is a motion for the forthcoming AGM.
You will get to vote but I suspect they are hoping it will slip through unchallenged appealing to members ambivalence or altruistic nature.
NO mention of compensation... so I have alerted the media.
I like to choose the charities I support..
They are keeping the monthly prize draw... whoopee

anyone have an update re Kent Reliance?
i still have a Bond floating around with them. are we still members of a mutual society with any assets?
i think not, but i've not received confirmation from them.
is there any real benefit in retaining an account with Kent Reliance?

"What exactly is the Kent Reliance Provident Society (KRPS)?
Kent Reliance Provident Society (KRPS) is a mutual organisation that was formed as part of the transfer in 2011 of Kent Reliance Building Society's business to OneSavings Bank plc (OSB). The membership of the former building society was transferred to KRPS while OSB, trading as Kent Reliance, krbs and Kent Reliance Banking Services, carries on the banking activities.
At the AGM of the Society on the 26th July 2022 the members agreed a proposal to wind up the Society, with its assets being transferred into a new charity the ‘Kent Reliance Community Foundation Limited. As a result it is no longer possible to apply to become a member of KRPS."
