Given the lack of responsiveness to routine queries, I wouldn't want to have to rely on the director's guarantee.

I think that Richard is an honest person. Just at this time in his life his priorities for whatever reason are not aligned with imutual.

It pains me to say that, although I still look first to imutual, the majority of sites I look to buy from are either not covered or suspended. Obviously there are, or were, other USPs for imutual, like the cashback guarantee and the responsiveness to queries, but the latter of those is now dubious. I still see imutual as an honest site that I'd like to use more, but gone are the days when cashback was anything significant, sad really. :(

The main USP for me has always been the forum.... but there again, it is a rump of what it was, with no real community interaction since kev passed away - even many of the old regulars are now more absent than present. I'd hate to see the site disappear, but it certainly isn't what it was and shows little likelihood of improvement as membership falls and the offers dwindle (or VV).

Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me

Astonishingly, there is still a trickle of new members joining - 32 so far this year, about half of them from referrals.

I somewhat avoid Imutual now going to the other 2 although they have also become just as dodgy in recent times.

My last big purchase through here has been on extended for months with no reply to questions about it.

This is sadly what happens when a site is so reliant on one key individual and they loose interest for what ever reason.

Not sure apart from nostalgia what the relevance is but I was and still am a member of Rpoints. It has no forum nowadays.
