Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, tells the BBC that she has not received a single phone call from Liz Truss since she became prime minister more than a month ago.

Presumeably her phone is a two way instrument.

It sounds as though she has not tried to call. Although equally I would not blame the Truss if she ignored it.

On World Mental Health Day, former home secretary Sajid Javid talks about losing his brother, Tariq, to suicide four years ago and urges the government to do more to prevent others from taking their own lives.
