Although if Nationwide continue to do this and if they keep it at the same rate will mean that they will have paid out another £200 in two years a total of £300. But that is also part of the problem, nothing with Nationwide is particularly certain.

However I am inclined to agree Nationwide despite being the biggest building society has imo never acted in the interests of its members. It has never I think been particularly mutual and certainly never at the top of the savings tables.
